My role includes running Islington's Vulnerable Adults' services across 10 sites.

My role included implementing the organisation’s new Young Person’s service across six sites. This is an extension of the borough’s existing provision and forms a part of the LIFE program. The service supports 72 Young People with Medium to High Needs in a support environment alongside an enhanced team consisting of a therapist, a mediation worker and two specialist support workers. Key achievements are: - Establishing two new complex needs services.- Recruiting a large team of specialist staff to work with more complex needs for the young people living in the service.- Providing management and support to TUPE staff while they adjust to the new service model and organisational requirements. - Leading on stakeholder relationships with commissioners, leaving care and other statutory and non-statuary providers.- Supporting customers with complex needs who weren’t previously being accepted into any other service model in the borough.

My role included managing outreach support for adults at risk. The service is a key part of the borough’s homelessness strategy. The service supports up to 552 people annually and 212 people at any one time. Key achievements have been:- Managing the service through a successful re-tendering process, which included working with our business development team on highlighting the successes of the service. - Developing referral and assessment procedures that manage the high demand for placements in the borough.- Developing procedures and practices to ensure all safeguarding concerns were managed swiftly and effectively.

My role included managing a specialist homelessness hostel for adults who have been evicted from multiple hostels previously and have been deemed as having the most complex needs.
