My professional journey began at Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc. (formerly known as Discovery, Inc.) as an accountant on the Corporate Accounting team. In my time there, I played a key role in streamlining accounting processes, facilitating system transitions, and providing vital financial insights to senior management.Feeling compelled to make more of a direct and transformative impact on individuals and communities, I moved from DC to Chicago to teach high school mathematics. In this role, I bridged educational gaps and nurtured the growth of students through innovative teaching practices, data-driven instruction, and social-emotional learning.These distinct careers converged when I found my calling in philanthropy. As a Grants Manager at The Brinson Foundation, I utilized her keen eye for detail, strong commitment to operational efficiency, and proactive approach to problem-solving to support mission-driven work.I now leverage my diverse experiences and skillset to ensure the efforts of the Paul M. Angell Family Foundation have a far-reaching and lasting impact in the community.
