As a DevCoach instructor, I help software engineering students deepen their understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). I work on developing both the frontend and backend of a system that simulates real-world software development team roles, using tools like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, AutoGen, and Python. This system allows students to collaborate and learn by working through SDLC phases like 'Plan and Design' and 'Develop.' Research has shown that this approach improves the learning experience, and we're expanding it to cover the entire SDLC process, providing a comprehensive learning tool for future software engineers.

At Morphworks, I focused on developing and implementing API integrations to efficiently import real-time data into a NoSQL database within Aerospike’s environment. This work streamlined data storage and retrieval, enabling the database to handle dynamic data flows effectively. Collaborating with software engineers, I identified and utilized optimal APIs, which enhanced the database's performance.I also conducted performance testing and optimization of API calls, reducing latency and maximizing throughput. This improvement significantly boosted the efficiency of our data integration processes. Additionally, I designed and developed a prototype database using Aerospike to simulate real-world scenarios. This prototype was essential for testing use cases and addressing complex data integration challenges, particularly for FAA and ACOE clients.In collaboration with compliance and data analysis teams, I created interactive PowerBI dashboards to visualize compliance standards and data trends. These dashboards enabled stakeholders to monitor progress and make informed decisions. I enhanced existing dashboards by incorporating new data sources and improving visualization techniques, increasing user engagement and data accessibility.Moreover, I integrated and analyzed flight and geospatial data using multiple APIs, uncovering trends and patterns crucial for developing tailored solutions for FAA and ACOE. My work included conducting data assessments and leveraging geospatial analysis to provide actionable insights. By working closely with cross-functional teams, I ensured that API-generated data was effectively interpreted, leading to improved operational efficiency and project outcomes for our government clients.

At DZYNE Technologies, I developed Python and Java scripts to enhance MAVLink drone software, enabling it to utilize real-world data for more realistic simulations. This work was pivotal in improving the accuracy and effectiveness of our drone simulations, contributing to more reliable and robust drone operations.In my role, I assessed new technologies, materials, components, and processes to boost the marketability of the company’s drones. By staying at the forefront of technological advancements, I was able to recommend and integrate innovative solutions that enhanced the performance and appeal of our products.I also played a key role in incorporating design recommendations from customers and managers, ensuring that our drones delivered the best possible customer experience. This involved closely collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and translating those into actionable design improvements.Additionally, I developed proposals to address government requests for capabilities and requirements through drone technologies. This involved aligning our drone solutions with specific government needs, ensuring that our offerings were competitive and met the rigorous standards required for governmental use.

I was the safety pilot for Flint Hill High School’s Advanced Aerial Robotics team. The team consists of students learning to develop and integrate hardware and software for aerial drones to compete in a worldwide Student Unmanned Aerial Systems Competition (SUAS). The SUAS competition is an event for high school and college-aged students to design and fly aerial vehicles to complete mock government contracts. As the Safety pilot, I am responsible for mentoring students desiring to pilot, create, and integrate sub-systems for aerial drones.
