The Musician's Podcast was a show created to help upcoming musicians, by talking with established artists/producers/DJs etc about the reality behind making music.Since starting the show in late June 2017, It debuted at No.2 in music podcasts, was featured by Apple Podcasts and made it in to the top 50 shows (also in Apple Podcasts). Guests have included Newton Faulkner, Deaf Havana, Banfi, Coasts, Robert L. Smith (Produced Keith Richards, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, David Bowie etc).In its first year, the podcast gained more than 500k listens and 6k subscribers. As someone passionate about music, talking to artists about negativity in the industry, self-doubt and confidence is so important as mental health plays a huge part in a musician's life. The show talks about these topics while remaining positive and entertaining and receiving a 5 star rating.

This role always takes different forms depending on the client, ranging from audience growth through social channels all the way over to style guides for content creation and understanding ‘depth of audience’ over ‘width of audience’. I would work for a variety of clients though the heart of my passion falls around creative and personal brands, I tend to work with these types of people on a more regular basis.

Coming straight out of university, I decided to set up shop and start working for myself. As I had a vivid interest in music, it was clear that the music industry was a good place to start. My clients included SJM, Sony, Blastbeat Records (Coca-Cola), Wolf At Your Door, LAB Records amongst many more. My services would vary from artwork designs to digital and online store designs, from editorial to video production. All in a day’s work!

Working for this international entertainment brand was a great joy and challenge. My task would be to complete artwork for the upcoming events whilst designing and developing new concepts with the in-house illustrator for anticipated campaigns. This Job was set in a very fasted paced environment, to tight deadlines and strict branding rules.
