Worked with the community of Elmhurst and surrounding area to stimulate broad-based support for local history, the Elmhurst Historical Museum, and the Churchville Schoolhouse through advocacy, education and fund raising.

While at Rasmussen College Matt's team was responsible for the development and implementation of Rasmussen's national real estate strategy, with an emphasis on streamlining processes, maximizing efficiency and minimizing the overall occupancy and capital expenditure costs. A critical role as Real Estate Transaction Manager was the ability to manage and advance multiple deals through every aspect of the real estate process; including conducting site selection and due diligence to negotiating LOIs and lease agreements, in multiple markets simultaneously. In addition to strategic real estate planning Matt's team oversaw Rasmussen's existing national lease portfolio, which included approximately 900,000 square feet of space comprised of 23 campuses and 4 central offices.

While at Towne Investments Matt developed and implemented the strategic leasing plan for Towne Investments' real estate assets throughout South Eastern Wisconsin and Illinois as well as managed multiple third-party brokerage teams engaged to lease the assets.In addition to strategic lease planning Matt prepared, analyzed and negotiated LOIs and lease agreements for multiple transactions simultaneously.
