As a Senior Site Engineer, my duties were as follows:• Road reinstatement works, substation construction including gas water and electricity installation• Establishing control networks on multiple projects• Quality control• Client liaison for multiple projects• Managing onsite crew, ensuring teams are on task• Training employees on good survey practice and how to use instruments. • Set out, asbuilt of: Obstructions, services (LV, HV, ICS and drainage), foundations, concrete structures, roads, kerbs, footpaths, landscaping features and street furniture• Laser and pipe level control for sheet piling and drainage• Maintenance of permits and other paperwork• Monitoring sheetpiles, sound• QA checklists• Searching for plans, providing colleagues with relevant dataThe equipment used: Leica 15+ Robotic total station, Leica Viva controller and GPS rover, 12D and AutoCAD 2013

I worked on Terminal 2 during the last three months of the project. This job taught me how to work efficiently and quickly under pressure, as the project completion date was imperative to adhere to. My role consisted of providing solutions on site in an accurate and precise manner. My duties as a Site Engineer were as follows:• Set out, asbuilt of: services (LV, HV, ICS and drainage), signage, concrete structures, roads, kerbs, footpaths, white lines, landscaping features and street furniture• Insuring that everything set out is installed as per design and will fit in with surrounding environment• Redesigning on site to fit surrounding structures• Maintenance of permits• QA checklists filled out for everything installed• Concrete testing• Searching for plans, providing colleagues with relevant data.The equipment used: Leica 15+ Robotic total station, Leica Viva controller, Leica 1200, 600, and AutoCAD 2013

My duties as a site engineer in this roll were as follows:• Setting out, followed by as builts of street furniture, earthworks, roads, drainage, concrete structures, white lines, underground services etc…• Redesigning, creating base design’s for the client• Creation and maintenance of permits for works on site• Inspection, test and record forms filled out for all the appropriate structures and services installed• Concrete tests (slumping, and cubing) to ensure quality of concrete poured The equipment used on site: Leica 15+ Robotic total station, Leica Viva GS15 Base and Rover, CAT scan and AutoCAD 2008.

My duties as a surveyor in this roll were as follows:• Setting out piles and guide walls for the construction of the American Embassy• Establishment and maintained of control on site• Creation and maintenance of plans/CAD drawing for the submission to the client The equipment/software used: Leica TS 1200 and AutoCAD 2011.

Land Surveys were the QA Surveyors for this project, although we were regularly asked to set out as well as QA. Our team consisted of seven Surveyors and two Chainman. Due to the complexity and size of the project weekly volumes were needed to ensure the project stayed on track, to do this I developed a reporting system that enabled Bechtel to achieve their weekly reports. Equipment and software involved were as follows; long range 3d Scanner (Riegl VZ1000), LIDAR, GPS and total stations (1200, TS15, Viva) in conjunction with AutoCAD, RiSCAN and 12d Model computing software. As the supervisor of this project I was in charge of delegating jobs to colleagues, attending meetings with the client regarding progress of the project and claims. There were various other jobs that we were asked to complete such as volume calculations, setting out, pickups, and producing professional plans.
