Built and directed a team of 150 people across four countries that designed and supported the complex AIG global network encompassing: 24x7 network operations, IT security, voice / unified communications, contact center technologies, PCI, and their related cloud, automation services, and associated Change/Release Management via ITIL. Administered a $21 million budget. • Increased profitability by $5.2 million annually for 2018-19 and beyond, while achieving a 90% drop in critical, and a 67% decline in major outages. I achieved this by building a world-class insourced unified communications operations team that outperformed any industry-standard managed service provider. • Rebuilt a failed small network & IT delivery center and transformed it into a large world-class Center of Excellence (COE), while living abroad for four years in Malaysia. (Now it handles 85% of global workload) • Created and led ‘Incredible Ops’ Program across all departments of global command center (all infrastructure departments plus key applications) to improve on change/release management, request fulfillment, and incident tickets. In the one year program we achieved 60% more efficiency by implementing improvements with the same Lean methodologies I applied in my prior successes within my network teams. • Additional $1.7 million saved yearly, with a 400% reduction in human-caused outages, and a 75% improvement in firewall changes by automating the load balancing/firewall workload, while meeting or exceeding services levels. • Increased the stability and availability of the business consolidation of shadow IT organizations by developing programs for data center consolidation and a technology refresh at 300 locations. • Managed IT governance across operational architecture, global data communication providers, and technology manufacturers such as Cisco, Didata, Arista, Palo Alto, Nice, Ayaya, Tufin, BlueCoat, Symantec, Blue Prisim RPA, and F5.
