PresidentChecking For Charity Corporation Mar 2009 - May 2018Checking For Charity is a non-profit corporation that spawned from a group of men's league hockey players seeking to make a difference through the game they love. The format has participating teams declare a 501(c)3 charity which they will be representing. Each team is guaranteed a percentage of the proceeds from the tournament with the opportunity to earn more towards their charity depending on how they place in the competition. By donating 100% of all proceeds to charity, Checking For Charity combines a passion for the great game of hockey with the passion to give something back to the community. The organization went from locker room idea to 501(c)3 corporation in a matter of months and raised over $9,000 in the inaugural event. In 2012 the organization expanded to the west coast by putting on a second tournament in Portland, OR. To date, the organization has put on 14 tournaments hosting up to 52 teams each and has raised more than $417,000 in collective charitable distributions for local, national, and international nonprofit organizations. Checking For Charity is looking to replicate its early successes and become a vehicle for others to put on successful charity hockey events nationwide.

As a Contract Manager I managed cost, schedule, and performance requirements on a portfolio of multi-million dollar contracts to deliver mission planning software upgrades, maintenance releases, and innovative new capabilities to the Air Force, its joint partners, and foreign military allies. -

RCC Central is the largest regional contracting center in Iraq and handles the majority of contracting dollars spent in Iraq.As the Deputy Branch Chief in the Operational Support Branch, Regional Contracting Center Central in Baghdad, Iraq I led a team of 8 that managed more than 800 base support projects/contracts valued at $484M critical to the quality of life and mission of 65,000 troops at over 20 bases throughout Iraq. Throughout my deployment I conducted enterprise contract strategy reviews, business analysis, process design and implementation, risk management, and contingency planning for a variety of internal and external customers with a variety of support project needs. -
