Led a team to create new data converter plugins written C# into an existing ETL framework for importing and exporting of data into a bespoke database EW system. This included updates to Oracle PL/SQL import and export packages.Previously had a role within a Scrum team to make an assessment of Trino against customer use cases for federated querying against multiple data sources. Involved prototyping using Trino plugin architecture for meeting user test case and plugins where vanilla software could not accommodate. Utilized docker and compose to network Trino and various data sources and to use a Superset GUI frontend for writing federated queries.

The main workings of the application are written in Perl and Java with Cocoon running on Tomcat with a connector HTTPD web server.
