• Design direction of all broadcast, print and digital work, including channel rebrands/ launches, advertising campaigns and trade communications.• Creating brand style guides and visual languages.• Managing in-house designers (4) and freelancers (between 4 - 8 depending on workload) to ensure the highest standards are achieved at all times. Developing junior designers.• Interpreting briefs, organising brainstorming sessions, and presenting pitches to senior management.• Spearheading the design team as part of a larger creative unit, which includes promo directors, copywriters and producers. • Critiquing reels and portfolios to ensure we hire the best freelancers available.• Cultivating good lines of communication between the marketing and creative teams to make processes more efficient, ultimately allowing greater time for creative development.
