Matt Belyus Email and Phone Number
Who is Matt Belyus (pronounced ‘rebellious’ but without the re) Early years: I know I drove my parents crazy. Inquisitive was an understatement (still is lol). I enjoyed taking things apart to know how they worked. I did get that honest from my dad. Anyone that knows me, knows that if they mention something is not working, I will be on it in the blink of an eye. My parents were very giving to those around us. We were far from rich, but always willing to help others and that stays with me today. Tech introduction:My dad and uncle were always into electronics for as long as I can remember, so I picked up the bug as well. My dad brought home a Vic 20 computer from work for me to see how I liked it, and I’ve been a nerd since. Our first home computer was a TI-99/4A and I was fourteen at the time. I would stay up all hours learning basic and programming. Education:I received my B.S. Computer Science in 1989. At that time the program was only programming, but that was fine because I loved it (still do). Career:I started out developing software for a company that worked with non-profit organizations. While I was there I was introduced to networks, email (ask me about this one), and systems data migration. My next position was with software company that had even more hardware integration and did process control for manufacturing. Projects varied from simple testing for quality to stress testing cardboard rolls to fuel injector testing. My next position was with one of the customers who is a major ice machine manufacturer where I took over the role as network admin, but as I had developed the process control for testing products for them, I had the role of process control engineer as well. I was introduced to IP based phone systems in this position and enjoyed seeing how to integrate voice with networking and software. I met Adam Gardner for the phone project. My next position was as a network/systems administrator for a wood treating company which had many locations. After eight years, the company was purchased and after a year there I decided that big corporate life was not for me. Adam and I were talking about it going into business together for phones and IT support and in March of 2019 we started Valet Technologies LLC. Valet Technologies:I’m not a salesperson, you’ll learn that quickly about me. Online meetings are fine, but I enjoy sitting down over coffee or lunch to learn more about people and their goals. Understanding partner goals, dictates the best way to help them.

Listening to and learning our partners needs sets us apart. A partner may be selling their business in the next year or two and that changes the needs for that business. The best ananolgy is buying a house. It may need a new roof which may cost 25k and the seller will not recoupe that money on the sell, where a 1K patch may suffice to get the sell accomplished. -
