I am a proud graduate from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Management and a minor in Business Administration. As I worked my way through college managing Alpine Ski Center I aquired real world leadership experience and sales skills. Out of five locations and over 100 employees I acquired top equipment sales 28 out of the 31 months during my tenure. This regional brow raising accomplishment calcified my highly sought after sales internship with Burton Snowboards. I assisted the southeast sales manager in every aspect of his position including direct sales, vendor relations, sales clinics, team management and regional trade shows. I was rapidly recommended, by an industry friend, to take a management/buyer role in Orlando Florida with the largest water-sports dealer in the world, Performance Ski and Surf. Not content with the city of Orlando I then took a position with a one year old startup from the largest marine OEM tower supplier XTP. I was responsible for building the aftermarket program from the ground up including eroding market share from the current stand alone aftermarket tower supplier, starting then expanding domestic and international dealer network, training customer service department and procuring shipping accounts.
