I write the vegetation management plan for transmission and subtransmission lines. I locate landowners and obtain permission to do any work from them. I work closely with my regional forester and do any additional special projects that I am asked to do. I also oversee one employee in my region. I train any new employees hired in my region. I organize the regional data into a report that eventually goes to the client.

I am also the liason between the property owners and the utility. I also work closely with the tree crews to make sure that my maps are easy for them to read and that they know how to use the computer software correctly and efficiently.
