User Interface Architect
I was the lead UI Architect for HPE's GreenLake Cloud Platform, the platform that delivers all web UIs supporting HPE's cloud services. I directed efforts in both UI infrastructure and features / content. My job was to make UI development easy (LowOps/NoOps) and yet give teams the ability build and deploy their services with a minimum of effort. This included the development of an MFE (Multiple Front-End) platform and related deployment scripting and runtime platform cohesion across numerous teams dispersed across the enterprise.Prior to that, I was the System Architect for HPE GreenLake Central. I directed an international team that built the UI for HPE's as-a-service platform. I have also been a leading member of the open-source OpenStack Horizon team (the web management console for OpenStack), working both with the international OpenStack open-source community and on HPE's Helion product. Across two releases (1 year) I was the leading code contributor to Horizon, and led the project's adoption of client-side technology. I was featured in several podcasts and video interviews while part of this project, and I made three presentations at the 2016 OpenStack Summit in Barcelona.
