About Matthew Bossler

I’m a conscientious and self-motivated individual who believes that any organization to which I belong deserves my best efforts. I set high standards for myself which often exceed those expected of me. An interest in all types of people and cultures has enabled me to communicate effectively with individuals at every level of an organization. After working in the wire industry for five and half years I took a one year career hiatus, fulfilling a lifelong dream of world travel. This eye-opening experience led me to pursue a career that affected people’s lives in a more positive manner and led me to the medical device industry.Project management was my main focus at OPKO Diagnostics as the company transitioned from R&D to commercial production. My responsibilities included planning for facilities and workforce expansion in preparation for the installation of automated manufacturing equipment in a cleanroom environment. I sourced equipment vendors and managed the procurement of new equipment. This was completed according to a commercial production expansion plan with set budgetary constraints and timelines. Forming efficient and ongoing working relationships with outside suppliers was an enjoyable highlight of this process. At Opko Diagnostics we received FDA approval for our point-of-care Sangia Total Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) Test on February 1, 2019. I led an inter-departmental team throughout the execution of all validation activities. In addition to this leadership role, I created IQ/OQ/PQ process validation plans, protocols and reports for critical manufacturing processes. After several years at OPKO Diagnostics I decided to become an engineering consultant. I currently help companies manage complex projects, solve manufacturing issues, increase production efficiency, and maintain compliance in regulated industries. Some of my professional interests include additive manufacturing, clean energy production, electric and autonomous vehicles as well as the R&D of cutting edge technology. In my free time I enjoy mountain biking, hiking and skiing.

Listed skills include Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, and 20 others.
