CurrentThe Advertising Association promotes the role, rights and responsibilities of advertising and its impact on individuals, the economy and society.It is the only organisation that brings together agencies, brands and media to combine strengths and seek consensus on the issues and opportunities that affect them. Through engagement and evidence-based debate, the association aims to build trust and maximise the value of advertising for all concerned. The remit for our communications team includes advertising’s think-tank, Credos, which is committed to an honest appraisal of advertising, its role, its effect and its value to UK society and the economy. Its Advertising Pays series has consistently informed industry by identifying advertising’s shortcomings as well as its positive features.
