As the name suggests, my role as Reporting and Funding Advisor has a dual function of helping post-16 education providers understand the latest government funding and regulatory requirements to give their businesses the maximum forward visibility possible. The second function of my role is to give institutions comprehensive reporting support. I am a report writer with a strong MIS background so can advise institutions on their reporting needs as well as producing bespoke reports for customers.

I manage the day-to-day running of the outsourcing department. We offer a range of MIS services for local and smaller specialist providers looking for hosted software and data support. We provide help with enquiries, applications, curriculum planning and setup, timetabling and registers, enrolments, exams and all the data submissions to the government. We also provide extensive data checking and validation to maximise funding and data quality.I also have a dual role as a consultant offering training and Onsite support to customers as required, including funding training and pre-audit support.

As part of a managed services contract for Tribal, my responsibilities included managing the MIS department for a growing and dynamic private training provider. This involved line managing a superb team of MIS professionals, overseeing the curriculum development process, ensuring learner enrolments adhered to government regulations, ensuring all statutory returns were submitted according to the published guidelines; and above all, maintaining robust data management and reporting processes so that the MIS team could effectively support other business-critical teams to enable the learner to have the most positive learning experience possible.
