With 20 years of progressive leadership roles at Commerce Bank, a subsidiary of Commerce Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: CBSH), a $24.5 billion regional bank holding company, I’m a proven leader in the financial services industry. Currently serving as the Director of Small Business Banking at Commerce Bank in Kansas City, my responsibility includes strategic direction and growth of the small business banking division focused on businesses with annual revenue up to $3 million across a five state Midwestern footprint. In this role since March 2013, I lead sales, service and client experience initiatives. Prior to my more recent leadership position within the Small Business Banking group, I spent six years as Assistant Vice President and Portfolio Manager of the consumer credit card division at Commerce Bank. In this position, I helped create the strategic plan as well as the development and execution of marketing and portfolio management initiatives resulting in the activation, cross-sell, profitability, retention, and product development for the consumer credit card line of business. I attained a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Kansas and an MBA with an emphasis in Marketing from Rockhurst University.
