About Matt Cadicamo, Pe, Pmp, Msce

I am a senior executive strategic leader, West Point graduate with over 20 years of experience of assuming command of and responsibility for underperforming teams and failing projects with a proven track record of success in turning around teams and projects. KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:• Led Alpha Company, 37th Engineer Battalion from the worst company in the battalion to setting the standard in all areas. Through my leadership, we delivered projects that were once seen as impossible. I put the right person in the right job that in turn actualized the individuals and reenergized the workforce. By the time my tour concluded, Alpha Company led the battalion in reenlistment rates, project delivery and accolades from all our clients we supported with engineering services.• The US Army Corps of Engineers in Afghanistan was a collection of Department of the Army civilians that materialized from all corners of the United States. During any given month, roughly 10% of the workforce concludes their tours of duty. Upon my arrival in November of 2009, many of the DA Civilians were simply treading water and awaiting their tours to end. By the time I was half way through my tour, I noticed that I did not have the personnel replacement challenges that my other seven peers had. I asked my senior engineer DA Civilian why we were so successful in this area. The answer was because of me: people wanted to work for me. He showed me the spreadsheet of all our people and they had all extended their tours to coincide with my departure. As a result, we maintained continuity on our projects and delivered them ahead of schedule and without the turmoil of changing leadership and management.

Listed skills include Military, Operational Planning, Command, Program Management, and 30 others.
