Hi, I’m Matt, and here are some things to know about me:I’ve designed user experiences for some of the top brands, including MTV, Travel & Leisure, Royal Caribbean, NHL, Fubo and ESPN.I think of myself as someone who is always searching for a better way, whether to boost efficiency, increase productivity or gain a competitive edge—it’s the pursuit of improvement that motivates me. I find comfort in playing a dual role. One where I’m guiding and mentoring other designers to grow and succeed, while the other sees me rolling up my sleeves and diving into the work alongside them. I pride myself on being very hands-on.Design should be collaborative. Different voices, opinions, experiences, and expertise are all critical towards its success. I am at my best when I’m surrounded by a team of other passionate and driven individuals who want to create experiences that people love and remember.Keeping up with the latest in technology and trends is extremely important to me. I have a healthy obsession with Figma and it's continuous innovations, from design variables to advanced prototyping with conditionals.Quality is non-negotiable and I’m a stickler for the details. My work is a reflection of who I am, and I take immense pride in that.I have an ever-evolving curiosity and desire to push the bounds of what’s possible which has led me down the path of creating design systems and designing innovative experiences powered by AI technology—learning from both successes and failures.When I am not working, I enjoy coaching my kids in multiple sports. It’s so great seeing them develop their skills and love for the game. I also love to be active myself, whether it’s regularly playing basketball or working out in my DIY gym. When I have downtime, I like working on jigsaw puzzles – there’s something oddly satisfying about piecing them together. Most nights you’ll find me watching sports, binging a new series or hosting the occasional Family Game Night.
