Progressed into Feature Owner role for interactive reporting web application (IBM Cognos Active Report) in July 2011. Oversaw development of new features, including enhancements to mobile aspects of the product.Member of IBM Cognos strategy roadmap working groups focused on improving product user experience and rationalizing content creation and consumption environments.Led envisioning, design and development efforts that expanded the availability of interactive reporting content to the iPad.Evangelized Active Report adoption in presentations to customers, partners and IBM sales teams. Also presented in several breakout sessions at IBM's Information on Demand 2011 conference. One session, to an audience of more than 300 attendees, achieved the highest feedback rating among break out sessions for the entire conference.Led design and development of an Active Report showcase sample for the product’s unveiling at IBM’s Information on Demand 2010 conference.Participated in a working group tasked with envisioning the user experience for a next generation IBM Cognos product.

Participated in the design and architecture of a new interactive reporting web application product (IBM Cognos Active Report). Developed and implemented features for its initial release.Developed a visual design and led the design of the user experience for a next generation self-serve dashboard product (IBM Cognos Business Insight). The visual design has since been adopted by other products in the IBM Cognos product portfolio.Designed and implemented a user-perceived seamless integration of the reporting and exploration product (IBM Cognos Business Insight Advanced) into the self-serve dashboard environment (IBM Cognos Business Insight).Implemented a visual redesign of the reporting and exploration product (IBM Cognos Business Insight Advanced).Prototyped Active Report sample content for mobile and desktop web browsers to highlight the product’s flexibility, power and ease of use, and to promote it to stakeholders.Participated on a team that explored and prototyped new business intelligence product concepts and features.

Developed and implemented new features and fixed bugs in query and reporting web applications over multiple release cycles. Developed a release program tracking web application to monitor the Cognos BI development organization’s progress towards future product releases. Prototyped proof-of-concept interactive reporting capabilities which became part of the foundation for an interactive report and dashboard product (Cognos Active Report).
