Media & Technology executive with experience in strategy, business development, M&A, investing and entrepreneurship.I currently oversee Global Corporate Strategy for Warner Bros. Discovery. In this role, I lead a team that supports the development of strategies and insights to drive long-term, sustainable growth.Previously, as SVP, Corporate Development, I led digital equity transaction activity for Discovery, including oversight for the US investment portfolio. At Discovery, I led or supported 50+ transactions ranging from mergers/acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and venture-stage investments, as well as providing strategic and analytical support to senior management. As a former entrepreneur, I brought a founder’s perspective to my venture role for Discovery, overseeing investments in innovative companies such as FloSports (flosports.tv), Philo (philo.com), FuboTV (fubo.tv, NYSE:FUBO), Group Nine Media (groupninemedia.com, merged with Vox Media) and TheDodo (thedodo.com, merged with Group Nine) among others. I have the privilege of holding Discovery's board director or observer seats for FloSports, Philo and Lumosity (lumosity.com), where I provide market and commercial insights and unearth opportunities to collaborate with the management teams leading these companies. In the past, I've served as a board director or observer for PlutoTV (pluto.tv, acquired by ViacomCBS), Food52 (food52.com, acquired by The Chernin Group), New Form Digital (acquired by Whistle), Whistle (teamwhistle.com, acquired by Eleven Sports, acquired by DAZN), Refinery29 (refinery29.com, acquired by Vice Media), Curiosity.com (acquired by Discovery), Tastemade (tastemade.com) and TAPP.In addition to my investing role, I led and/or assisted on a number of control transactions for Discovery, including the formation of the MotorTrend Group joint venture and the acquisitions of Golf Digest and Panna Cooking, as well as providing support for larger deals. From 2018-2019, I led Corporate Development activity for Discovery’s post-merger integration efforts with Scripps Networks Interactive. Recently, in collaboration with Discovery's ad sales and finance teams, I have helped pilot a program to engage with growth stage companies around creative advertising and marketing partnership opportunities with Discovery. Prior to Discovery, I worked in corporate strategy and dealmaking roles for Disney and IAC as well as co-founding a Techstars-backed startup in the mobile advertising sector. I began my career as a management consultant focused on tech, media and telecom.
