Provide operational support to the Grand Rapids, MI office and business development across the six offices of Corporate Technologies LLC. Primary Focus• Oversee daily operation activities including finance, HR & sales support. • Vendor and manufacturer relationship coordination. • New product offering development and management including managed services and traditional product sales. • Remote Online Cloud Backup: In house managed backup service for businesses sold across Corporate Technologies six offices. • Microsoft Office 365: Management sponsor for Microsoft offering which Corporate Technologies has been recognized as a leader in Michigan for number of sales and implementations. • Intel Hybrid Cloud: Initial US pilot partner with Intel and Microsoft selling a managed services / hardware as a service offering targeted at small businesses. While researching network monitoring technologies to improve the operational efficiencies of technicians focused on supporting data center customers, I recognized an opportunity to sell managed solutions to non-data center customers. The initial focus was on network monitoring however any technologies that could be leveraged across multiple customers yet managed centrally were considered and researched. The primary solutions were:• Remote server and network monitoring utilizing technology from N-able Technologies Inc. • Allows CPR to leverage the current data center support staff to develop a formal network operations center.• Online remote backup utilizing technology from Asigra Inc. • A leading backup software developer with technology designed for managed services providers to backup customer data across private or public network connections.• Managed email filtering utilizing technology from Trustwave.• For some time email spam was managed by physical appliances located onsite at customer locations. This solution eliminated onsite equipment and allowed engineers to support clients remotely.

Supported the financial and management teams by analyzing multiple aspects of the business, including specific product offerings’ profitability. This often consisted of developing reports and querying data from multiple internal and external databases. Significant use of Microsoft Access, Excel and third party software development was required. Although there were many projects during this time, much of the focus was on three:• Managed Services business evaluation• Data Center hosting cost analysis and offering development• CRM and business systems design• Key teammate tasked with designing and developing business modules including project tracking, call ticketing, invoicing & expenses among others• Experience with both the technical deployment and training of the technology as well as the people and culture transition required for a successful implementation.• Developed monthly management reports showing sales and gross profits against company targets.
