Packaging, equipment specialist, and technical advisor for Yara's North America Industrial division, dealing with the emerging industry of diesel exhaust fluid (DEF). Responsible for managing and overseeing all North America packagers for DEF. Tasks ranged from establishing packagers, addressing contractual issues and monitoring daily operational activities (inventory management and order fulfillment).Responsible for the procurement of DEF equipment (ie: tanks & dispensers) and overseeing thedesign and installation of this equipment at customer locations. In addition, to provide training andtechnical advice to customers and Regional Managers.

Led a staff of over 25 technical professionals and support personnel for GLE’s largest operating branch. Branch services comprised architecture and engineering design, site, environmental and building sciences, consulting, construction management, forensic architecture and engineering, as well as health and safety consulting. Developed annual operating budgets, tracked profit and loss on a monthly basis, monitored staff utilization on a weekly basis, weekly observation of proposal fee generation, examination of departmental back-log and burn-rate, coordination of regional business development activities, conducted technical and loss prevention review of proposals and project reports and directed staff development activities. Coordination with other directors in regards to allocating staff resources for project execution; management of personnel workload and operational costs; reviewing, negotiating and execution of contracts between GLE, vendors, clients and sub-consultants.

Led a staff of over 12 geologists, engineers, and environmental scientists in developing and performing diverse environmental services. Responsible for developing and achieving department annual budgets, tracking profit/loss, business development, project execution, technical and loss prevention preparation, review of proposals and project reports, and employee training, procurement and mentoring.Developed a portfolio environmental due diligence program, which generated well over $100,000 of net annual revenues.

Project Manager for numerous environmental projects from both private and municipal sector clients. Responsibilities included client management, proposal generation, project scheduling and execution, project budget tracking, report preparation, invoicing, and collections.

Performed field work in relation to environmental due diligence investigations, contamination assessments, storage tank closure assessments, lead based paint inspections, mold assessments, industrial hygiene, wetland condition assessments, endangered species assessments and asbestos inspections.
