About Matthew Colapinto

After graduating in 2016 from the University of Denver with a major in psychology I felt compelled to help those suffering from mental disabilities in a healthcare setting. I worked for Centennial Peaks Hospital as a mental health counselor, at Boulder Analysts working with children suffering from behavioral issues, as a patient care aide at Denver Springs Hospital, and now as the discharge coordinator at Denver Springs. In this position I am familiar with behavioral health services available to patients that leave the hospital and work to coordinate after care for patients state-wide. I am ready to take my experience in clinical health care settings, and my undergraduate degree in psychology and communications, and apply them to wider career opportunities. I have just finished my Master's in Health Administration from Metro State University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. I am well positioned for a career in health administration.
