My experience applying HCD extends beyond the past nine years as a socially-driven User Experience (UX) Designer within the charity and community sector. Prior to pursuing a personally-driven mission to integrate UX practices and build UX capacity within not-for-profit organisations, I spent seven years designing and managing architectural projects, seeking informed ways to design with the customer in mind. This pursuit led me to complete a Master of Design with a focus on design management, participatory research and community engagement.
