Current-Participated and Championed 8d's involving production quality standards using root cause analysis to develop and implement long term corrective solutions-Designed, developed, and implemented a SPC training program to educate operators on how to use SPC to identify trends, and evaluate for quality concerns-Participated and lead on three separate new product launch teams representing manufacturing, engineering, and quality to perform engineering trials, and production trials to flawless launch products into production-Designed, developed, and implemented a Total Preventative Maintenance Program which reduced unexpected downtime, and overtime-Monitored, tracked, and analyzed key departmental performance metrics including scrap, downtime, overtime, and productivity and reported out to upper management with action plans to improve each month-Developed and improved control plans, and PFMEAs to accurately reflect current process controls and to identify key risks in each process-Updated Bill of Materials and cycle times in SAP based off DOEs, long term usage, time studies, and correct initial launch calculation errors to reduce inventory, and production run rate variation-Developed, implemented, and improved current standard operating procedures based off the results of DOE, customer complaints, and ergonomics to reduce variation between operators-Designed, developed, and implemented continuous improvement suggestions from manufacturing operators to reduce scrap, improve quality, and improve efficiency through the use of designing new tooling, fixtures, standardizing quality acceptance criteria, modifying workflow, and improving 5S-Participated in customer visits to demonstrate process improvements, new product launches, responses to CAR, and PSOs-Developed, tested, and implemented localization of tooling to the United States, from Japan, based off statistical analysis, and cost benefit analysis
