CurrentCooling water distribution system design for four process units encompassing multiple pieces of equipment. Optimized header and branch sizing and routing based on flow requirements and pressure drop limitations. Increase solvent recovery for a polymer process (de-bottlenecking). Comprised pump sizing, optimizing pipe diameter, control valve sizing, and analyze effects the changes would have on subsequent equipment. Utilized the Management of Change (MOC) system to implement changes, conduct pre-startup safety reviews and train operations personnel affected by the changes. Field verification and updating of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID’s) for processes to ensure accuracy. Production tracking and data analysis. Compiled batch data, analyzed trends and generated reports for Operations Managers. Tracked key operational parameters such as batch cycle times, product yields, and downtime. Reported the data on a weekly and monthly basis to Plant Managers.
