To top that, at the end of his FIRST year on campus as a freshman, he was voted and elected as the SAAC Vice President. There are absolutely outstanding achievements for someone so young in their collegiate career. The work ethic that Matt has demonstrated this year proves he is a "go-getter." He has developed numerous professional relationships with alumni, employers and community members in the field of business. He wants to make a difference, and he is actively pursuing his academic, professional and athletic goals. In all of my time at the University of Delaware in my roles in career guidance, athletic administration and as an educator, I can honestly say that I have not met such a dedicated and driven young student-athlete who is obviously going places.
