Matt Danzico is an American filmmaker, designer, and journalist. He is the creative force behind Danzico & Company, a film and design studio showcasing both his own work and that of his team. In 2023, the studio celebrated a series of films and art installations about the war in Ukraine, premiering at a dozen venues and festivals, including the Tribeca Film Festival, Dumbo Film Festival, and Westminster City Hall in London.Previously, Matt served as an international journalist with the BBC, where he created and presented a global documentary program for BBC World. As head of video innovation for the media giant, he designed and launched several BBC accounts and mobile services that continue to thrive today—from China to India and beyond.He later built and founded an NBCUniversal documentary and augmented reality studio, leading a team that earned over two dozen awards—including an Overseas Press Club Award, multiple Webbies, and many others—within just two years, before founding his own studio.Now, Danzico explores new approaches to sophisticated, cinematic journalism, shifting away from news industry norms to blend art and entertainment, all in pursuit of reaching large audiences with vital information.
