Developing mathematical models to predict the fate and transport of engineered nanomaterials in the subsurface. Model development is particularly focused on the influence of background aqueous chemistry on nanoparticle mobility. Simulation of this behavior is achieved through utilization of multi-constituent mathematical models.-Research funded by an EPA STAR (Science To Achieve Results) graduate fellowship.-My work resulted in seven published peer-reviewed articles and several conference presentations.-Teaching Assistant for two semesters.
