Management of Opal's international trade affairs specifically relating to trade law and economics, with a focus on policy, legislation, guidelines, trade remedies and anti-dumping actions, including Australian Paper’s successful 2015 & 2017 anti-dumping cases. Preparation of international trade statistics, pricing and volume datasets, internal financial cost modelling, preparation of written application, case management over investigation period and drafting of submission related to the case.Cross-functional collaboration with finance, legal, manufacturing operations, sales and marketing departments to assist in the collection of key internal data and information for the application and investigation.Management of stakeholder engagement including Government, unions, corporate customers, and preparation of media releases.Representative of the Australian Forest Products Association (Australian’s peak body representing the forestry, pulp and paper industries) at the International Trade Remedies Forum (ITRF).Experience in dealing with a number of government and departments including: The ACCC, Department of Industry, Innovation and Science (particularly the Anti-Dumping Commission), the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Department of Immigration and Border Protection, The Australian Bureau of Statistics, Anti-Dumping Review Panel, World Trade Organisation and others.Engaging with and developing relationships with key manufacturing industry organisations and working groups.Management of strategic business development activities resulting from investigation outcomes.
