The Entrepreneur Society at San Diego State University is the hub of entrepreneurship for students on campus. With the help of Jon Tucker and Bernhard Schroeder, we grew the organization from 3 people to well over 50. Currently ES provides fascinating speakers, resources for entrepreneurs, and strong support from peers.

Working closely with the Co-Founder Dale Stein, we developed a intern and sales program to be launched on a national basis. Ryan Mulvany and I were responsible for refining the lead generation process and providing a case study for TAG’s members. We also developed business plan for Voice Smart Networks that was shared with the national members at TAG’s annual convention. As a result many TAG members look towards us as trusted advisors in lead generation.

My experience with the Aztec Racing was incredible. I learned a huge amount about project management, fundraising, leadership, and the engineering process. As the V.P of Business Development I was responsible for fundraising, marketing, and developing a feasible business case for our car. In June, I presented the business case to a panel of CEOs in the automotive racing industry. Working with the mechanical, aeronautical, and electrical engineers at SDSU was an absolute pleasure. They taught me many insights into the design and fabrication process. I will continue to participate with the team as an FSAE alumni.

The Lavin Entrepreneur Program provides a select group of talented undergraduate students with an unforgettable experience designed to prepare them for an entrepreneurial career.
