Matt Dewitt has over 16 years experience in the environmental consulting industry. Over the past 12 years, he has served exclusively on environmental activities related to transportation projects. He has specialized in Clean Water Act permitting, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation, project management, client management and regulatory agency coordination. He maintains strong relationships with the South Carolina Department of Transportation’s Environmental Services Office, as well as other State and Federal agencies, including the US Army Corps of Engineers, the US Federal Highway Administration, the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control and the State Historic Preservation Office. Every project is unique, and requires a wide range of environmental responsibilities. His background also includes project management, mitigation site identification and monitoring, and permit compliance studies. He routinely perform natural resources studies, including wetland delineation, threatened and endangered species surveys, water quality sampling, and environmental documentation.Matt has been involved in highway, street, and bridge projects for both rural and urban projects.
