Service offerings included debt capacity studies, financial feasibility studies, market projections, and strategic planning. I developed in depth knowledge of various financing options for hospitals including HUD 242, 241, and 223(f) programs, USDA-guaranteed financing, Build-America bonds, and traditional bond issues. Additionally, I developed a scenario forecasting model which gave clients insight into the (then) potential effects of Healthcare Reform (ACA) and meaningful use payments on their overall operational and capital strategies. Our team worked with hospitals throughout the entire country and was based in Dixon Hughes' healthcare consulting office located in Raleigh, North Carolina.
