The Assistant Director - Off-Campus Housing - Student Leadership & Involvement coordinates a variety of activities and programs associated with student off-campus housing. Including an annual Housing Fair, designing and distributing an annual Housing Booklet, maintaining a website with over 7,000 hits per month, managing a social media presence for UVU Housing and attending First-Year Orientations and UVU Open Houses to discuss housing options with incoming students. In addition the Program Manager advises a full-time Coordinator who assists with additional departments needs.The primary focus of the Program Manager of Off-Campus Housing is to advise 18 undergraduate student Residential Community Leaders or RCL's. The RCL students live at off-campus housing properties where they work as representatives of the university. They plan monthly events and connect UVU students to campus resources in an attempt to give an on-campus feel to our off-campus housing. In this position I have also served on the Transgender Taskforce, Inclusion Committee, Campus Image Committee, Adult Learner Taskforce, UVU Homecoming Committee, Adult Learner Taskforce, as the Co-Chair of a Student Affairs Program Enrichment and Evaluation Review Committee, various staff hiring committees and as the UVU Student Leadership and Involvement Wolverine Summit Student Leadership Conference Chair.

In this position I represented Utah Valley University as the Vice President of Academic Senate for the 2015-2016 school year. In this position I had the large task of representing the voice of the entire student body. I was responsible for eight Senators, who represented each individual college and one assistant. I manage a budget of $130,000 to allocate towards campus speakers, giveaways, marketing, and all other needed supplies. I oversaw a group of 60+ Department Representatives/Volunteers that worked within each college to effectively represent their departments.I was responsible for an Academic Speaker Series that brought speakers such as Max Greenfield, Michal Arad, Aron Ralston and Elizabeth Smart to our campus. Averaging over 1,500 students at each event.I sat on campus committees such as: Faculty Senate, Academic Affairs Council, Academic Calendaring Committee, Inclusion Committee, Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration Committee, and the Safe Zone Committee where I represented UVU's student body of over 34,000 students.

I serve as a voting member of the Utah Valley University Student Association, representing the student body of Utah Valley University. I meet with the Dean and Associate Dean of the College of Humanities & Social Sciences bi-monthly and assist them with events in their college, as well as ensure that the students within their college are represented.

Maintained extensive knowledge of UVU campus and resources. Served as a professional representative of UVU for new students. Assembled and distribute hospitality packages for potential UVU students. Established rapport between student and parents. Guided 10 to 15 students on weekly tours to familiarize them with UVU’s campus.

As a Zone Manager, I was responsible for organizing and facilitating the daily events scheduled in the ZONE at UVU. I also kept the calendar of events and worked with instructors for each event. Another main responsibility I had as a Zone Manager was to maintain the ZONE's cleanliness and inventory. I was also responsible for all of the purchasing for the ZONE.One of my greatest contributions to the ZONE was the implementation and upkeep of the ZONE's social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. I was able to build an active audience of over 1,500+ followers.

My most recent campaign was #Reasons2Renew throughout the month of July. This campaign encouraged current residents to renew their leases at Wolverine Crossing while highlighting the complexes amenities.

In this position, I was in charge of community event planning for residents (micro and macro level). I worked with a team of 14 - 20 to increase sales percentages for leased spaces. Also, I assisted in the overall Resident Life program to benefit the lives of those living on the property. In addition, I performed successful follow-ups with potential residents and current residents to increase retention.
