After studying business management at the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania, Matt Eitner accepted employment as an equities trader with NDB Capital Markets in Jersey City, New Jersey. Subsequently relocating to New York City, Matt Eitner served consecutive tenures as vice president of the boutique investment bank Casimir Capital and managing director of the private investment firm Aegis Capital Corp. His responsibilities with Aegis included the oversight of the firm’s Private Client Group.Mr. Eitner joined the team at New York City’s Laidlaw & Company in 2010. A year later, the longstanding international investment bank and wealth management firm promoted him to his current position of chief executive officer.When he isn’t working, Matt Eitner enjoys cooking and entertaining family and friends. He also lends his support to various youth sports organizations and charitable nonprofits such as Covenant House and Good Counsel Homes.
