Represent Islington Governor Services to local, regional and national school governance conferences and networks; provide support to Chairs and Headteachers on school governance issues; deliver direct professional governance support to twelve school governing bodies across the full range of local authority maintained schools (both community and voluntary aided); academies; nursery schools; and pupil referral units ensuring that all members of governing bodies are aware of changes in school governance regulations, statutory guidance and requirements of Ofsted inspection framework including guidance on applying these.

Clerk to 10 governing bodies through traded service including supporting reviews of permanent exclusions, hearing of parental complaints and advising on regulatory framework and policy changes from national and local government impacting governors.

Managed core operations including compliance with charity commission regulations and setting and monitoring budget; Oversaw proposed new building project including identifying potential sites, discussions with architectural design partners and ensuring appropriate management of funds donated to support land purchase; Managed work of multiple volunteer programmes through supporting volunteer team leaders including providing leadership development opportunities.

Developed community partnerships for Employment Service to deliver access to jobseeking advice and guidance in community venues with the aim of reaching disadvantaged groups. Represented Employmet Service District management on local development and community regeneration partnerships.

Led and managed job broking service in busiest Jobcentre in East London, line managing staff team of 10 including performance appraisal, in providing assistance to jobseekers and applicants for local businesses including delivering screening of applicants prior to interview.
