About Matteo Pigni

I am a PhD graduate in immunobiology with seven years of lab experience. My PhD projects focused on dendritic cell biology, with an interest in the mechanisms of activation and signaling of innate immune receptors. Following my PhD, my research focus has expanded to self-tolerance and immune regulation. I have solid expertise in biomolecular, biochemical and immunological techniques as well as in vivo models. I am very rigorous and organized with an especial propensity for benchwork and problem solving. I always yearn to improve my skillset and to deepen my knowledge.Specialties: immunology, antigen presenting cells, dendritic cells, mouse models, molecular biology, cellular biology, experimental design, data analysis, teamwork, public speaking, scientific presentation, scientific writing.
