Internship at IRMA LAB (Industrial Robotics, Mechatronics & Automation Laboratory) of the University of Bologna.The project consisted of solving the problem of optimal trajectory planning for robotic manipulation of loosely placed objects applied to collaborative manipulators. I modeled the problem using the software Matlab and implemented the solution on the collaborative robot UR5e.

Collaboration with IMA GROUP: Optimization of Robotic System for Pharmaceutical Filling Machines.As part of a team of 7 students, we worked towards the optimization of a robotic system for pharmaceutical filling machines. During this project we:- enhanced the productivity of a robotic filling system used in pharmaceutical production, increasing output from 400 pcs/min to 600 pcs/min by redesigning the robotic manipulator responsible for liquid filling.- conducted a detailed analysis of the existing system and designed a novel dual-arm anthropomorphic robot by using a CAD software (Solidworks and Creo Parametric).- enhanced teamwork skills through effective communication and coordination with colleagues from different engineering backgrounds, contributing to the project’s overall success.

Led a team of students in the design and development of a new firewall component for the university’s racing car, focusing on material selection and structural integrity to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
