I worked on my M.D.'s training project at Fabrice Soncin's laboratory c/o IBL (Institut de Biologie de Lille).The purpose of my project was the continuation of a PhD work on the characterization of the promoter and of the important sites for the expression of the VE-statin/egfl7 gene in murine endothelial cells. I carried out a large-scale study of the expression of most Ets transcription factors in endothelial cells and fibroblasts using Real-Time quantitative PCR and I identified an Ets factor as a putative regulator of VE-statin/egfl7 expression in endothelial cells.
