Per Alstom Gr Oct 2022 - PresentSalonicco, Macedonia Centrale, GreciaAfter completing the previous inventory work, I dedicated myself to research and identification of the inventoried components, having several times the opportunity to go under, inside and above the ETR470 trains currently operating in Greece.I had the opportunity to collaborate with the Engineering team and Operation team, helping them in the research, identification and coding of the various components of the ETR470 trains.For the teams indicated above I worked on the following points:- Coding of components that did not have a pre-assigned code,- Material management logistics plan update,- Research and verification on the train of Alstom drawings and codes,- Obsolescence control,- Check information regarding maintenance interventions,- Creation of "use guides" and management and operational procedures,- BOM creation and verification on the train,- Updating project documentation with the aim of simplifying the search for information for the different departments and increasing interdepartmental efficiency.- Creation of technical documents,- Collaborated with the PREM of Engineering to calculate material requirements for the duration of the entire ETR470 project and for the individual management of maintenance activities, using the return on experience from the previous 2 years.

Ε.Π.Ε. The job consists of helping and directing two other people in opening, checking, transcribing product and serial codes, photos and counting crates containing spare parts destined for trains. I also take care of the transcription of the aforementioned codes making sure that they correspond to the assigned materials. The difficult part of this job is the absence of barcodes which does not allow for quick identification of the component. These, varying from the normal seat to the smallest electronic component, can be particularly difficult when their number varies between one hundred and two hundred different components per case. By developing a method to avoid any misunderstandings due to linguistic differences (Italian, English and Greek) I was able to speed up the process by managing to catalog up to 85 cases containing about 14,000 pieces in 5 days. This was made possible above all thanks to an excellent teamwork that allowed everyone to carry out their work with speed and precision.
