Matteo Capoferri is currently Director at 3-im, a leading engineering and architectural company specialized in Integrated 3D Project Delivery. At 3-im, over the last ten years, he drives different clients and project teams along innovative BIM workflows, to implement the delivery processes and daily workload tasks, respecting national and international standards (UNI11337, PAS 1192, ISO 19650).Most recently he is focused on the digital implementation of some infrastructure projects including the Brennero tunnel and Pedemontana Lombarda. He lived in Chile where he has been leading innovative BIM implementation for the New Hospital of Barros Luco Trudeau in Santiago.He also spent a period in Poland and Sweden where he helped the general contractor to start the new commissions of the new Warsaw Metro 2 Line and Haga/Kvarnberget station project in Gothenburg.In general most of the focus has been on software procurement, training, content development, technology collaboration with other team players, and other technology implementation aspects of adopting BIM relating to WAN-LAN-Clouds and hardware.During his years in 3-im, he was responsible for a wide range of national and international high-end design projects at all stages of development.He works in different contexts and cultures growing his ability to adapt in many situations and with different teams. His Professional involvements include model management and administration ensuring a healthy BIM database. He leads coordination meetings gathering all discipline's BIM models including infrastructure and performing coordination tasks like conflict resolution.Interspersed with various projects, he held BIM training on various software such as Autodesk Revit, Dynamo, Navisworks and Civil3D, contributing to the training and the assistance of more than 100 professionals, for a total of more than 500 hours of courses in the last 8 years.
