Mechanical and fluid-dynamic analysis of oil&gas process pumps with reference to:- baseplate stress and deformation analysis;- lifting analysis;- pumps components mechanical stresses and deformations;- vibration;- modal analysis;- rotodynamic analysis;- standard definition;- computational fluid dynamic (design&optimization);- fluid-structure mechanical/thermal interaction;- mechanical test supervision in workshop;in compliance with common oil&gas standard codes as API 11th edition or ASME using:- 3D&2D cad interface (Inventor®-Autocad®);- computational fluid-dynamic codes (CFX®);- mechanical stress analysis FEM program (Workbench®).

My job's field is focused on mechanical and fluid-dynamic analysis of hydraulic turbine, with particular reference to profile optimization, analyzing both active parts (distributor and runner) and passive parts (spiral case, discharge, injector, deflectors), and engineering of all the mechanical parts which compose the hydraulic machine and its auxiliaries.Thanks to 3D&2D cad interface (Catià®-Autocad®), computational fluid-dynamic codes (CFX®) and mechanical stress analysis FEM program (Workbench®), I take care of the whole product’s design cycle, starting with the modeling of the single piece, through the drafting activities and manufacturing drawings, until reaching the supervision of the tests in mechanical workshop.Particularly I have developed mechanical and fluid-dynamic analysis, in both stationary and transient conditions, with the purpose to improve main three types (Pelton, Francis, Kaplan) hydro turbine’s performances and some multi stages reversing pump-turbine.
