Matteo Fogale is a designer based in London. He works in the fields of product design, bespoke furniture and installations led by a design approach that considers honest and premium materials, functionality and longevity of the product. The result is a combination of everyday objects reinterpreted with a strong iconic character. With a strong background in arts, he enjoys craft as much as industrial manufacturing and tries to combine both where ever it is possible, while experimenting with different techniques. A passionate maker, always looking for interesting materials and how to use them in different ways with a non-traditional approach. His work is inspired on one hand by the contrast of textures, shapes and colours found in nature, art and industry. And on the other hand, from the reflection of different experiences and feelings gathered from our surrounding environment.
