As a social psychologist, I have always been interested in observing others and their behaviors, and trying to understand what might be going on in their minds. This led me to do my BSc, MSc, and PhD at the University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy, the latter in collaboration with the University of Surrey, UK, where I spent a year as a visiting PhD student. During my training, I joined the social psychology labs of my supervisors, learned how to think as a social psychology researcher, and improved my skills in experimental design and construction using software such as Millisecond's Inquisit or Qualtrics, and in data analysis using R.After that, I joined the University of Münster, Germany, as a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Psychology, where I could work on some new topics and further improve my skills, and where I also started teaching BSc and MSc students in topic-specific seminars (4 hours per week) in addition to my research.I then moved back to the University of Milano-Bicocca to take up a postdoctoral position, where I am currently working on a new project for which I received a seedcorn grant from the European Association of Social Psychology.During these years I have also participated in several national and international conferences where I have presented the results of my colleagues and my work, which have also been published in some high-impact journals (see my Google scholar page for an updated list!).
