Matteo Moscatelli graduated in Architecture and got a Ph.D. in “Architecture, Urban Design, Conservation of housing and landscape” (2008) at Politecnico di Milano. He collaborated with architecture magazines, as “Ananke”, "Archi", “Area”, “Arketipo”, “Casabella”, "Il Giornale dell'architettura" and “L’industria delle costruzioni”. He runs an architectural practice, where he works on architectural and urban designs. His work has been awarded several prizes and mentions in architectural competitions, as the design of public spaces in Lissone (First Prize, 2019), Marciana Marina (Third Prize, 2015), Marina di Pisa (Third Prize, 2015), Cerete (First Prize, 2006), and Berbenno (Third Prize, 2004); the design of residential buildings in Mozzate (First Prize ex-aequo, 2004). He teaches at Politecnico di Milano, at Istituto Europeo di Design (IED), at SUPSI-USI and at the Spring Semester of the University of Southern California (USC) and attended international design workshops in France, Colombia, Egypt, China and Australia. He is member of the editorial staff of the architectural magazine Archi since 2022, and President of the Archivio Cattaneo since 2024.
