Degree in mechanical engineering in Italy, at the University of Genoa. A formative experience in the U.S. as researcher at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio. Back in Europe, I started my career in the field of Intellectual Property and after three years of training I became an Italian patent attorney. In 2009 I passed the European qualifying examination and entered the list of professional representatives before the European Patent Office.At present, duties are mainly spent on prior art searches, patentability analyses, patent drafting and prosecution worldwide, legal advices, opposition before patent offices worldwide (including appeal and oral proceedings before the EPO); infringment cases before the competent courts, freedom-to-operate opinions, competitors' asset analysis, IP surveillance, custom alerts and support to custom searches.
