As Product Manager for the Mechanical Anchors Portfolio I'm responsible for the product lines net sales and profitability in the southern European markets. Main activities and responsibilities:• Responsible for the definition and implementation of the marketing strategy for the product lines, including regional road map, positioning within the relevant market segment, price strategy and value proposition;• Close cooperation with all Marketing, Sales and Logistics stakeholders for product lines' life cycle management;• Close cooperation with Headquarters for new products and technologies development;• Definition and presentation to the management meeting of new business ideas, market opportunities and marketing plan, sales forecasts and go-to-market activities;• Continuously investigation of the customer needs through several market sensing activities for future products development;• Technical and commercial support to the sales force during customer visits and the preparation of the offer;• Continuous training to the sales force on the relevant product lines;

Main activities and responsibilities:· Manage Market research and Competitor analysis in order to identify trade opportunities, growing trends and customer needs for defining new project and product contents;· Provide guidelines and contents (Brief 0) for new products and projects to Engineering and Design departments, defining targets in terms of costs, time and performance, both technical and economical;· Supervise the entire Product Life Cycle in synergy with the R&D, Design and Sales departments, identifying the required updates, in terms of style and technical features, in order to keep the product competitive in the market;· Define Moto Guzzi product range for mid-term plan;· Provide preliminary financial analysis and business plan for new products;· Prepare technical-commercial documentation to support Sales Units;· Manage the new products' Press and Commercial launch participating to events and dealer meetings;

As part of the Product Marketing team, my main activities and responsibilities are as follows:- Provide technical-commercial support and assistance to sales and to product promotion activities, in coordination with Business Units; - Promote and explaining to the market and to the customers: products capabilities, performance and configuration's technical details, ensuring compliance with requirements;- Prepare technical-commercial documentation required to support BU's responses to bids and negotiations;- Define and ensure periodic update for commercial documentation used for product promotion on the market;- Collect and analyze relevant information on competitors products;- Provide inputs to relevant functions in the company, concerning configuration developments required to ensure product competitiveness;- Participate to international exhibitions and air shows: Singapore Air Show, Farnborough International Air Show, HeliTech (Amsterdam), HAI Heli Expo (Los Angeles)

During my first two years in Leonardo Helicopters I have designed and developed three different software (VBA, Excel):1. Mission and performance calculator. The major achievement related to this project is the totally new, fast and methodic approach to product marketing team’s daily work.2. Helicopter’s configuration manager. Allows the user to keep track and history record of equipment's details: code, name weight, compatibility applicability and much more.3. Competitors database. It is a worldwide helicopters database, collecting more than 110 models and 450 technical and economical parameters, providing the user a quick and easy way to produce comparison tables and reports among different products.Such activity strengthened my knowledge on rotary wing technology and my competitive analysis approach.
