As the Senior Vice President of Hospitality Development at MGM Resorts International, Matt Erickson is at the forefront of executing MGM Resorts International’s ambitious hospitality development projects and capital plans. He leads and manages the end-to-end development process for both domestic venues and select international resorts, guiding projects from ideation through the post-opening phase. Matt Erickson was Senior VP of Restaurant Operations at sbe, where he was instrumental in the opening and expansion of the world-class restaurant group since 2006, instituting many key systems, policies, & procedures. Erickson oversaw the company’s award-winning portfolio of concepts nationwide and internationally including The Bazaar by José Andrés, Katsuya and Cleo. In addition to working with some of the world’s most highly-regarded chefs, Erickson spearheaded concept development, operations and sales & marketing, leading a team of over 2,000 restaurant professionals.
